Colourful public library with a collection of mostly Tamil literature and with some English books too. Frequently visited by the locals, it is a peaceful place to read newspapers and books. There is an computer cafe in case travellers are looking to send a quick email or so. Open all 7 days from 10 am to 7 pm. The entrance is decorated with a gorgeous status of the deity of knowledge, Goddess Saraswathi.
