Hotel has superb rooms with a stunning view of the ocean of Weligama bay. Pool is comparatively small and it's not a straight one. The Weligama bay beach is good for a sea bath. Food is great and the Buffet has a huge variety. The hotel is certainly worth the price.

Awesome place for a holiday getaway. Proper definition of a 5 star resort and spa. Very good rooms with spectacular views of the ocean and equipped with good amenities. As we were celebrating our anniversary they provided us with a cake and a card. The food served in the buffet is of top quality and had a wide spread. The sea is super awesome as its a surfing spot. Very shallow even though there are high waves. Looking forward to getting back to the resort. Highly recommended although it's slightly on the higher price.
One of the best hotels I have been in Sri Lanka and that telling, given ì have travelled privilege to most of them. Beautiful hotel located in the center of a crescent beach. Perfect waves for beginner surfers and you can walk fairly a good distance and still be standing. Waves are calm perfect clean beach a real paradise. Marriot know what 5star service is like. Beautiful room with breath taking views, nicely landscaped gardens, food is excellent and the service is excellent. This is a must travel place.
It is a definitely a five-star hotel and a perfect holiday gateway. All proper sanitation and health regulations were in place at the hotel, rooms are in good condition and have beautiful ️ beach views. I myself felt comfortable and really enjoyed my stay. Its quite expensive but it is worth the stay, there are many facilities provided like gym, pool, table-tennis and Spa. Thank you Marriott for making my stay enjoyable and relaxing
Truly a five star hotel experience in all aspects. The rooms were excellent, wide spread of food and top of all excellent service..we went in celebration of a special event and they did not forget to surprise us in sweet little ways which we never expected..kids enjoyed the stay and especially the kids club, which I believe they did a great job despite the pandemic situation in arranging activities for the kids whilst maintaining all health guidelines. My kid was asleep during a meal time and the restaurant staff did not forget to give a take away pack for the little one, a service which I have not seen in any of the hotels.Overall it was a great experience which I would recommend to any... Kudos to the management and the staff in bringing in a five star experience...and thank you for making our stay a memorable one.
Hotel with a splendid view overlooking the sea. Beach is very clean and no place better if you are looking for surfing and dip in the pool afterwards. Food is superb and delicious! Very relaxing and the best getaway anyone could hope for! Service is remarkable and the staff is very friendly too. Unique and quality service worth every penny spent!
One of the best hotels in Sri Lanka that I’ve been to. The rooms are spacious and have all the required amenities. There are two pools at the hotel. The rooftop looks really amazing. The international buffet at the hotel is superb. This is located at the Weligama bay where the beach is shallow and even small kids can bath safely. You can also get surfing boards, coaching and Jetski rides at the beach.
Beautiful and a classy hotel. Superb staff. Rooms are nicely done and very clean. Every room has sea view. Can enjoy good sea bath. Surfing facilities available. Very clean swimming pool and kids can enjoy their stay too. Staff are super supportive. Room arrangements are unique.
