I really loved this surf school. They taught me everything to the complete surfer. Not just how to catch waves, understand sea conditions, surf etiquette etc. On top of this they care about your development. If the waves aren't right or if you are too tired they won't send you out or will take you somewhere else. Other schools will just chuck you out whatever the conditions and still take your money. Massive thanks to Indika and all the guys for a great weeks of surfing!

Excellent place to learn surfing! I took lessons with Jayaruk, my friends with Indika - the owner. Both are great guys with big hearts, know how to explaining surfing in a nice and patient way. It was fun for us and kids! They invited us for New Years Eve on the beach. Thank you Jayaruk and Indika!
The best teacher! Thanks Indika for getting me standing on board my first time trying this as a complete beginner! Propper excercise before surfing, training on the board before going to water, nice safety instructions, everything done excellent! So this is completely more than worth, totally reccomend to everyone!

Probably the best surf school at Weligama! Indika is a good person and great instructor. He has taught me everything, how to stand up, how to get balance and how to catch the best wave. He was always with me in the ocean and gives me instructions when I need to stand. His experience helps me to stand up and surf alone after a few lessons! I highly recommend Indika and South Coast Surf School!
