STAY AWAY STAY AWAY Do not shop here (Dambulla branch, in our case but their head office and been equally unhelpful). We have ordered a ring with nice stone, as we were traveling - the shop offered to deliver the new made ring on the next day to our following location at Kandy. delivery took in the morning as we were leaving... for train station the problem was that they have delivered us ring that was chipped, and not the same stone we had selected. They are people who are taking advantage of you traveling, to sell poor quality stones at premium prices and in the event of realising their scam it is very difficult to get your money back. Nobody needs this hassle on vacation. Stay away.

If you need to buy Blue sapphire and other jewellery for family/ girl friend you should visit them. Their hospitality is phenomenal. Being and Indian we have a habit of haggling on the price front. We purchased one silver sapphire necklace which they quoted to us for a price of Rs. 2 Lac INR but ultimately we purchased it for 74000 INR. So friends when you visit them do keep in mind that there is lot of scope for bargaining and don't hesitate. Ask your wife to bargain and get the best price. Best of luck.
**DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE** This company is not even 1 Star but I had to select it We purchased a stone from them and asked for them to put it in a setting. When we returned to collect, the design was incorrect and then we noticed that the stone was actually cracked and not the same stone we had selected. We asked for a refund but were told that international refunds take weeks to process. We opted to select another ring. After purchasing this ring (for more money again) we noticed that the ring was chipped. We returned the ring and insisted on a refund. Again we were told due to the recent attacks that the central bank must first approve all international bank transfers. As we were on honeymoon we had no choice but to accept this information in good faith. We returned the ring and left. 3 weeks later and no reply to any emails from the company. My bank is attempting to initiate a refund but it's going to be a protracted battle. Do not shop here (Dambulla branch, in our case but their head office and been equally unhelpful). Cheat shop. Tuktuk or agent lead you here to buy sourvenir and you will be charge with extremely high price. I were their victim. I bought some ceramic elephants with price 7500Lk, basilur tea at cost 1855Lk, then we go to mall and found out the real cost of elephant was 1850 Lk, and 900 Lk for Tea, I also found that tea was expired after I put the label away. They revised the expired date. Tourists shoul beware of this place.
