Administration building in Colombo city, constructed with a beautiful architectural similar to the Capitol building in the United States. Located in front of the Viharamahadevi park and close to the National Hospitals in Colombo and the public library. Well maintained facility. Typical government services and you may hardly satisfied with the service first time. Parking available inside the premises as well as along the roadsides.

Shape is similar to United States Capitol building in Washington DC. Specially the magnificent dome of the Colombo Municipal council building is the same replica of the US capitol dome. Located in the heart of the bustling Colombo city, neighboring to the Viharamahadevi public park and the public library as well as Colombo National Hospital the building has a great importance and a magnificent view.

Somehow made me think of the U.S. Congress building and left the feeling as if it's the smaller relative of it. Beautiful building constructed in neo-classical style in early 20th century. Worth taking a peek if you're in the surrounding area. It also hosts the mayor's office

I parked my car and received a fine ticket. I settled it within the next three hours and still had to pay 1500. The pay system goes as below and i have never seen a fine system as below anywhere across the world. - fine paid after 1 hour - 100 - fine paid after 2 hours - 200 - fine paid within 28 days - 1500 - fine paid within 56 days - 5000 So if a person pays within three hours he has to pay 1500 same as the one who pays on the 28th day wow.
