The food is here is really good. Definitely one of the better places in Colombo to eat, especially when combined with the aesthetics of the cafe. It can be a bit noisy when it is full owing to it being in the basement and there is no window/door for the noise to escape. Having said that, the seating arrangement is such that they don't over crowd the place. The food as I said earlier was really good and definitely a place that offers value for money. We were too full after having the sea bass and prawn dishes, that all we could manage was the hot chocolate. That too was definitely one of the best hot chocolates Colombo has to offer (plus point - it's served in a pretty vintage looking tea cup). Next time we will go there for dessert.

Culinary Craft is the restaurant at Villa Raha and is located underground. I've been there twice now and both times, the food has been absolutely amazing! Their brioche is simply out of this world! The price is worth the taste of the food. The ambience is also very cozy, with lovely decor.

Super tasty options.. Great quality of avocado on toasts with poached eggs, excellent yuzu sauce, and good quality of the breakfast board. Matcha latte was cold and a bit too sweet.. Cozy beautiful decoration, and very friendly staff. Just one thing, it’s simply too expensive, for Sri Lanka, even with good quality ingredients etc..

We popped in on July for breakfast over here. This can definitely be counted as one of those hidden gems in Colombo. It’s a gorgeous display of finesse and carefully thought ambience which plays together very well. The staff are extremely professional, friendly and efficient considering their nature of size. We had the waffles for breakfast, everything was decadent, elevated and absolute perfection. Neither one of us expected to be served with such high level of finesse. Least to say being impressed is probably one of the few things to say.

There are some yummy food!! Definitely try! Atmosphere is cute, not a lot of space as it's in the basement... Not really kid friendly though... Perfect for small meet ups... Not a lot of Veg options, but they are flexible to amend... Overall, lovely service and food...

Good single origin coffee from local roasters Temple Grounds. French toast was also good; the presentation (and price to a certain degree) was a bit over the top. That shouldn't be unexpected for a small cafe in the basement of a boutique hotel, however.
