I went at 8.25am to get 3 birth certificates and a marriage certificate. I was given a number and was called to the counters at 9.10. I got everything done by 9.30. Rs100 a copy. I guess earlier you go easier it is. You can park also at that time. (8.30) One guy said he came at 6.30am but he got his birth certificate just after me. So dont bother coming too early to get a number as they start work at 9am. They say close at 3pm. You can get election registry names for your household for school admission. Its a small printout from a machine at a different floor. No charge you have to do it yourself.
Worst service... staff are root & not caring about the publics
New COVID19 procedure: You need to get a token to get services. They issue only 100 tokens and you have to stay in-line may be from 4AM in the morning. Tokens are given from the guard room. So i am assuming knowing how things work you would be able to buy a token!. I returned home not knowing the new setup. So want to inform others..... Updated 09/09/2020 Not sure is the setup us the same now. Please check before you visit for any service. I manged to get my requirement done through another Chanel.

2020 august 28th Friday at 1.30PM I Went there to obtain a birth certificate copy. One of the security guard said, they only issue 300 tokens per day and the tokens are over by that time. So, he asked me to come back in another day. Time was 1.30PM, but government offices closed around 4.30PM I guess. How inefficient and unsupported staff. Another security guy came and asked previous guy to allow me to go. So, I feel they were trying to bribe me.
