I have experience with almost all the banks in Srilanka. But HNB is horrible. From the front desk to management to call center, all are drunk. Sure. All the staff are out of track.

HNB should get rid of the “24/7 Call Center”, Or the management should provide authority to them for work behalf of any branch in Sri Lanka during AFTER business hours. Compared to other Banks in Sri Lanka, HNB system/ work ethic is dam old. They must implement at least go beyond the traditional banking methods and make customer’s life easier. Personally, I DO NOT recommend HNB for the people who are working overseas. I know only “Yakkala” Branch, at least they have to have something supernatural common sense. But unfortunately they DO NOT.
