I've had very good experiences at GFH, but today they took close to an hour to bring fish and chips to the table and really mediocre shepherd's pie. Hope this was a one off :(
Fabulous service - very attentive and among the most professional I've seen. I sat outside (not sure if this is still considered Travellers' Bar) - it's an amazing place to watch the sun set, as well as watch the flag ceremony.
Visited the Travellers Bar at the Galle Face hotel for tea and it was very good. The cuppa was great and the location and service was very decent indeed. However be weary of squirrels who'll just snatch your food off your plate.
Lovely location and ambience but slow service, limited bites menu and could improve quality of portion such as filling of sandwiches, cocktail mixers
Lovely bar. Love the inside area as well as the outside sitting area. Very elegant and classy place. Love the food and the service . Prices are reasonable as well.
A very good place with a nice vibe. Food was tasty and prices of the drinks were reasonable. Has some unique ambiance.
