Cottage 42 a cosy little cottage right on the border of the town. Conveniently located. Walking distance to everything. Clean rooms n bathrooms. We were given room only as the cook was off but food was not a problem as restaurants are close by... Reasonably priced.. Owned n managed by Vision Care Options..

Brand new hotel with great rooms. I had a great stay in this hotel. It is brand new and nicely decorated. I loved the balconies and the common rooms which have sofas, tables and chairs to sit down and relax. The staff were very nice and helpful at all times. The location couldn’t be better - it’s right behind the bus station in the city center - and the room was clean and spacious. Many thanks to the staff for the good care they took for me!
Great place to stay near the city center. I stayed here for 1 night with my boyfriend and we had a pleasant stay. Its location is really good. It is just a 5-min walk to the city center of Nuwara Eliya and within walking distance to Gregory Lake and Pedro’s tea plantation. The room was great and the bed was comfy. Sana who is a member of the staff who attended us was very nice and gave us good recommendations whenever we asked him. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel.
Now this a great place for a cheap night stay within the city. However, bring your own towels. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Since it's in the city center, closer to everything. Usually a quiet place and safe. No air conditioning. Only breakfast offered here and it's tasty. Wifi available.
