Very nice place. Hotel manger was very friendly and provided us awesome service. Meals were excellent, contain curries unique to Sri Lankan southern village side. Place is very calm and quiet though it is just meters away from the road, only sound which could here hear was the river and birds. Cottages facing river ideal for having cup of tea while sitting on the nice comfortable bench and watch water flow on the river Got very good WIFI signal strength. I am looking forward to have a working holiday at this place.

This place is SCARY! We were lured in by the apparent beautiful exterior of the hotel. After we checked in we discovered our room was a filth hole. The condition of the rooms were very bad. Bed sheets, linens were dirty. AC and bed pillows are full of bugs. TV is not working.
beautiful place surrounded by the nature. Nilwala river flows front of the cottages. Delicious food and friendly staff. There are some other narural places where you can visit. Brilliant place to stay. Great food, lovely scenery, amazing people. Bathing in the Rocky river in front of the cottages was one of my best experience in life.

Love the neat little cottage and the owner plus the cook. The owner drove us to Sinharaja where we took a tuktuk up and then did a trek for 3.5 hours. The cook's skills are amazing, his rice with curry and his sandwiches for our trek were the best! Love this place, definitely try to book this place. You will wake up to sounds of the rainforest!
Beautiful place with the scenic views of the river. Food is fine and the hospitality of the staff is awesome. It is a superb location for the guests with the yummy food.Still have the memories of the splendid breakfast with "Malu Ambul Thiyal"
Need to develop the resort.. food is really good.
