The Desert Bar in Colombo City Centre is a true gem of a place where the chef is a real professional and takes utmost care to serve the best quality dish she can prepare. I ordered the Chocolate Souffle and the texture of the chocolate Lava brownie and the ice cream was marvelous. I truly can't wait to go again and try another dish.

A really nice find in Colombo city center.. Had one of their specialties called moon walk...and it was mouth watering and really nice presentation too.. And the staff and chef were very friendly.. Good place to check out.
Had the chocolate soufflé. It was spectacular. The chocolate soufflé was served with a tonka bean ice cream, chocolate soil and a passion fruit gel. All the flavours matched well together and the Dessert was paired with a chocolate and vanilla bean Tea. It was perfect!
Wow.... what can I say. As someone who frequents fine dining and dessert bars in Sydney/Melbourne I was so impressed with not only the quality of the ingredients but the well thought out elements of each dish. They truly take you on a journey! The Tarte Tatin and The Wald were my personal favourites. The chef Huseiyn clearly has passion for what he does and it shows in his business. Cleverly paired with teas. Sad there isn’t something like this back home!
