David is an Amazing host! Tended to my every need, is a great conversationalist, Great tour guide as well. Helped me plan my stay in Ella. Very welcoming and extremely clean place. View from the rooms are spectacular. Close to the ELLA Train station, within walking distance from every restaurant and ella destination. Definite must stay.

We took a family room and it was very adorable..This is not a luxury place but has all the basic amenities. . I was impressed by the owner's friendly nature and hospitality.. The path from the main road is like a trek and not everyone will find it convenient.. The view from the room is breathtaking.. All the restaurants in Ella is about 300mts from the hotel. You will have to walk a bit before you hit the main road. We enjoyed our stay..
It is great place to stay with a delicious breakfast, served in the room with a beautiful view of the mountains and waterfall. The owner was very kind and helpful. It was a bit difficult for us to find the stairs down to the hotel because it was at night but we called the hotel and the owner came immediately and accommodate us without having a reservation.
Good location, new construction so everything is spotless. The hosts are very welcoming and will take good care of you. The view on the waterfalls from the bed is fantastic. A bit of noise from the road below, but nothing crazy. The access road is a bit steep, but the hosts will help you carry your kit if you let them know. Also had a monkey view from the balcony :)
Very bad service... booked using Expedia, Took comparatively high amount n have delivered nothing except room.. no WiFi, most of the time no person to attend n no break fast served although we payed for it
Great place hidden away in the hills of Sri Lanka
Best value for money when it comes to accomodation in Ella. Yes there is stairs and a hill but anywhere worth staying in Ella will have these as well. It is worth the exercise. Comfortable rooms, fast wifi, clean and spacious, great views. You cannot beat the service as well, easily the best host we had in our whole three weeks in Sri Lanka. I recommend the Viewfront to anyone who is planning a stay in Ella.
It's a bit surprising to go down some raw concrete stairs in the beginning but all your doubts will be lifted when opening the door of the room. The room is big, the bathroom is modern and OMG the view , perfect !! The owner is also nice and kind
