Flemingo duty free which is in departure terminal one is very good.there are So many things to buy there. But in arrival terminal duty free shop is very poor. You can buy only some kind of chocolates and liquor only. There is nothing else more than that.

I visited this place on 2019-01-07. After purchasing all my needs, the person in the cashier was forcefully trying to promote another set of items. They didn't give me a bill for my purchasing also. Please use other shops.

The lady who was telling me the offers said one thing and at the counter they billed something else. When I inquire both the person at the cashier and the agent stared scolding me very badly. This was a such an unpleasant incident and does not recommend this place at all.

#Limits on #Liquor 2.5L of hard #Liquor, 2 L of #Vine, 2 Bottles of & Beer per Sri Lankan (adult). Only 1.5 L for #Forigners. It's #illegal to buy /posses #cigarettes or any other #tobacco products or spirits exceeding above limits. Prices are too high Compared to flight's on-board duty-free shops or Other countries duty free shops. have almost all the major brands of #Whiskey, #Vines, #Brandy, #Chocolates, #Confectioneries, #Tea, #Perfume, ...etc One of the two duty free shops that sells Liquor and Confectionery items in Bandaranayake International Airport ( BIA, CMB) at Katunayaka, Sri Lanka. have shops on both Departure and Arrival terminals. Only Departure shop has no limit and sells #Cigarettes and other #tobacco products too.

Has lot of items mostly chocolates and spirits. There are good discounts available throughout the time such as buy 2 and get 1 free. Staff I very friendly and helpful. Accepts credit cards and non LKR common currencies.
