Really great little restaurant. I loved the decor and ambience here. Food was really tasty - actually I haven't eaten all day so had 2 meals. A delicious yellow curry with prawns, and a vegetable curry. We were visited by a local bat a few times, but didn't bother me. I welcome spot to escape the heavy rain. Great staff and music too. Drinks list a little baron and expensive but.. Highly recommended

Very tasty food and nice ambience. The music was a bit loud inside so we chose and outdoor table. The tuna in butter sauce was decadent! Perhaps too much, because the tuna was swimming in butter sauce which meant my salad was as well. I asked for no fries and just extra said which didn’t happen but that’s okay. Calamari and mashed potatoes was yummy yet small. Good service
Best value for money breakfast in the the central part of Port Galle. Ordered English breakfast which came with 4 pieces of toast, 2 scrambled eggs and pot of coffee. As opposed to many other places we had breakfast this place served proper jam which was a pleasant surprise. Cost was 770 rupees (including service charge). You will be paying twice as much at other places nearby.
Clean rooms and wash rooms. Food was good. Breakfast needs to be improved. There was no fruit juice, sausage or bacon. We were not given a choice of how we wanted our eggs. Friendly staff
Ate breakfast at the café here, didn't stay at the accommodation. We wanted an early breakfast and passed by here - they open at 7am - and decided to go in. It's quiet and a plain white space, very simple. We weren't sure what to expect because there's no obvious kitchen, but the Sri Lankan breakfast was excellent. Spicy dhal and spicy sambol! We were served a large fruit plate, 2 egg hoppers and 8 plain hoppers between two people! Generous serving size so we took some away for later. Cost was 650 rupees each and breakfast included coffee. Good value in Galle we thought. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delivered by a mama and a guy on a motorcycle from outside, perhaps why it was so delicious! Cane back the next day to have string hoppers. Would definitely recommend breakfast here :)
Ordered green salad and stir fried octopus. Salad was OK, but octopus was served with huge amount of red pepper (waiter didn't ask if we want it spicy or not), so you can't taste the octopus. The only thing you understand that this octopus is made of rubber.

Excellent food. We had the fresh grilled calamari, it came with a large dallop of mashed potato. The service was slow though, but apparently that's the case everywhere in Sri.
