I was such lucky to find Pathum Guest House and much lucky to stay there. This place is just 3 minutes away from Beach and every other place you need for shopping and restaurants. Specially the Host "Mano" is young man with great personality. very kind and friendly. he speaks The best English and very easy to communicate with him. His mom made many local snacks and foods for us and was very delicious. 100% Recommended this place

We were very pleased we took advantage of mano's touring skills and his moms obvious abilities in the kitchen - the suggestion that she can prepare a "rice and curry" vastly understates her culinary prowess - we marveled at the excellent meals she prepared for us and even suggested that she could offer cooking lessons. They are delightful hosts who epitomize the spirit of the Sri Lankan people - warm, giving and helpful. will fondly recall afternoons on the veranda listening to the birds and watching the squirrels chase each other through the trees. It truly is a peaceful, green retreat away from busy roads. but just 150m away from beach.
Big nice home for a Great family vacation. place was clean and well maintained. Garden is very big and have good space for kids and us to chill. open veranda and many other open places to chill. Host is very friendful and good in English. he help and gave many tips for our all stay in Sri Lanka.
I spent last month there and I really recommend this place. Owners are really kind, its close to the beach and its quiet, comparing to city's sounds. Rooms and kitchen are good and terrace with nice view on the garden is just great :)
