All time favorite cafe in Kandy. This is a locally run community cafe which supports Child Action Lanka. They have the best food in town. Love the sandwiches, coffee and smoothies. The prices are reasonable and staff is very friendly. If you're looking for a place to dine on a budget and also to contribute to social impact, this place is highly recommended!

Coffee at Buono is up to Australian Standards. Great taste and good strength. No. 1 place for coffee in Kandy. Avocado on toast for breakfast also went down a treat. Each cup of coffee also helps support kids living in poverty through education, basic needs and love/care so double down.
Wow this cafe is so cute!! Great outdoor balcony and the food was very well priced. My friends had the avocado toast and I had the chickpea salad all very delicious. The deserts here too look wonderful! We found this was the best coffee in Kandy! Would totally recommend!
Best place(I haven't visited yet you can oder from pick me food) for to taste coffee and shakes very tasty but gives you a small amount. They got best hot dogs I ever ate. They are so long I only ate Mexican/Italian/Spicy/Classic hot dog all of them are very long around 12 inches(30cm).Also the Pulled Bugers a so good. Price is okay you can buy a very good meal around LKR.700 - LKR 1000.
Buono is a small cafe at Kandy. Their profit is used to support children. They have coffee , smoothies, Burgers, Cakes , donuts and cookies. Foods are average. Friendly service.
Relaxing place. Great for tea, coffee and drinks! But also well worth trying some of the tasty food! It's delicious! This place is a bit of a hidden treasure in Kandy. It's entrance is tucked away down a side street. You then walk up the stairs and are greeted with a warm, cosy coffee shop / restaurant. Nice vibes, relaxing decor and friendly staff. A great place to escape the hustle and bustle outside and take a bit of time out... Nice selection of drinks, coffees and teas. The banana smoothies were really tasty btw... Also well worth trying some of the food on offer. The prices are very good and everything is freshly prepared. We tried the vegetable wrap, the avocado on toast and the cheese and tomato sandwich. Pleased to report that they were all very tasty (especially the wrap). Thumbs up from us!
Small informal cafe tucked behind the main road. There is a sign on road which can lead you to cafe which is 20 meters away. Walk up few stairs. The place has rustic look with utilitarian furniture made out of recycled crates. We ordered all day breakfast and coffee which was good. Cafe latte was palatable however other coffee had some oil floating (for some unplanned reason) overall 4/5
Fantastic food and atmosphere!!! Everything we wanted and more! Veggie wrap was delicious, loved the original mix of flavors. Staff are very passionate about the food and service. They donate a percentage of your coffee fee to a children's charity! Thanks for the experience, we'll be back again!!
