I bought a chillie paste (Cargills Kist) on october 2020 and it was spoiled. I complained to cargills food city (katugastota 1 )and to the cargills head office (Over the phone ) regarding this but they didn’t even care. I called them about 10 times and i was fed up. So i took the chillie paste and talked to the manager, he just called the security officer and asked him to refund the money. I asked them the reason, because i had a stomachache for days after eating that, but they didn’t even call me. I should have complained to the PHI and Consumer affairs authority before handing over the expaired chillie paste. I had the worst customer care experience. Please go see the customer service provided by Keells Supermarket. They never ask the customer to come and return the item if it is their fault.
