Lovely hotel. Fantastic staff. Excellent service. In a lovely quiet residential part of Kandy, surrounded by greenery and near the river. Much preferable to the noise, pollution and hustle of Kandy town. The rooms are much nicer than many of the bigger hotels. Great decor. Will definitely come back.
This is a small hotel/guest house located in the suburban Kandy very close to the Mahaweli River - the longest river in Sri Lanka. From a hill top location where the hotel is located one can just walk down to the bank of the river after crossing the road. There's limited but usually adequate carparking on site. To my knowledge, there's no regular public transport available to this upscale residential area. The building and all rooms, lobby and restaurant are nicely designed and well furnished. The bathrooms are clean and high standard. At least some of the rooms could be considered to be on the smaller size. The hotel is more than good enough for a few days stay. Temple of Tooth Relic is not very close to the property. However, this is a good base to visit the temple and end enjoy the annual procession - Kandy Perahera.
Excellent Hospitality, Calm Environment, Lovely and Luxury Hotel. Our Stay at Rivora Residence was exceptional. I would say this is the best hotel in Sri Lanka, The rooms and furniture was well arranged and decorated. There are loads of space to relax, enjoy and doze off after a busy day. Actually the environment is very quiet and calm. We could hear birds chirping and loved it. We felt like home at this property. The staff was very attentive, professional and friendly. They arranged everything for us. We stayed in the junior suite. that was very large, beautifully appointed, very comfortable bed and everything you need. we ordered dinner and wow we loved the meal. It was very tasty. I think they have a really good chef. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel to any person. Will definitely come back again soon.

Great place to stay !!! Don't miss Kumara. He is a nice person and bcz of him spending in there also very nice and peaceful. 10min walk to polgolla dam. Highly recommended this place to stay for a little brake.
