Madina Central College is a school situated in Kandy district, Madawala, Sri Lanka.[1][2] It is a mixed school that currently has about 3,150 students and about teachers 120. The current principal and vice principal are Abdul Raheem and Mr. J.M. Zarook, respectively. This school offers both primary and secondary education. This school has all the essential facilities. Madawala has gained a positive reputation and popularity because of this school. Students from far away places like Digana, Udathalawinna, Kandy, Katugastota come here due its popularity and perfection.The school holds cricket matches with Azhar college every year, but it has now stopped for a while due to some inevitable circumstance.[3] At the beginning of every year, the school holds the annual sports meet,[4] and at the end of every year the school holds its annual price giving.[5] The students have achieved a lot in studies and as well as in sports.The school holds a vast background.[6]
