May be the best bookshop in Sri Lanka. I often get lost whenever I go inside this place & end up buying way more than I planned to buy. Best children's book store with an amazing collection.

Less crowded, convenient place to shop your stationary needs. Relatively smaller shop compared to other Sarasavi book shops. Only English books are available. Also limited number of stationary items are available for you to choose from. There is a sizable parking space available in the basement. Staff is supportive and friendly.
Situated a little ways from the Maharagama Bank of Ceylon branch. A good place to find a large range of books. Both printed and stationery from writing books to foolscap papers to water colours and more. A limited range of craft items are also available. If you are searching for a specific book always check their website (which is very upto date on their inventory) before visiting. You can also get greeting cards there as well. They are open from 9am to 7pm. Staff is helpful but they will direct you to the general area of the book you want. Payment can be done via credit & debit cards as well as cash. Hope this helps!!!
I've bought books from there. There are wide varieties of genres to choose from. You could also request book orders from them. Customer service is good.
Worst customer service ! The incident happened on 2021.04.02 at Maharagama Branch. I chose a Physics past paper pack and asked them if it was having answers since it was not mentioned in the cover. Instead giving me the answer the middle aged lady told me "Salli gewala aran galawala balanna" So is this what we expect from a sales person ? Arent they supposed to guide us to our requiremenets ? Since I was not sure, after buying I opened the pack at the cashier. Then again that middle aged lady started to scream at me saying "Oya teacher kenek neda ? E nisa thamai ohoma danagalanne. Iskole lamai ohoma na". If this is the way they teated me after being so nice on them, I cant even think how they are treating others. I repeat I will never visit Maharagama outlet again. Highly disappointed.
