This is a very unprofessional place who takes 60 - 70% of money first and going missing for months & years. Please don't give any order to this place . The owner himself is a lair who talks with you very professionally to take down payment and then not responding and giving many reasons. We will take legal action against Aratuwa Woodworks.

Aratuwa Woodworks is a really good find. Chathuranga was very responsive, open minded and professional. Having communicated all the details while being overseas, they took a basic design of a master bed and turned it into something elegant topped by a mess free installation. This is the first of many furniture to be done by them and would highly recommend their craftsmanship.
The furniture we ordered were designs we had chosen from the internet, Chathuranga and her team were able to do them the way we wanted.. very satisfied with the final outcome.. Thanks a lot The Aratuwa.. Your doing a great job!

You must be talking about a different Aratuwa wood works. This company own by Chaturanga is a company takes money first and don't complete the works. We just sent him a letter before legal action. We will do what ever it takes to bring him to justice and punish
Definitely a star class robber! We’re almost 10 months now only been paid half of the advance given for this fraudster!! If u really want to find out how good their wood work is, check from the Moratumulla police how many complaints been lodged and called on chathuranga. Even the police they know him by name. I came to know these when I made my complaint against this robber. Update 22.12.2020 Check for the photo that I posted on his fake google reviews. I think this alone is enough to judge what kinda cheater he is! Update 29.01.2020 Moratumulla police requested me to come to the police on 01.02.2021. He had told the police that he doesn’t know that he owes me money. await next update on my return. Update 01.02.2020 Went to moratumulla police at 10am and Chathuranga didn’t turned up as expected. funny thing was he had blocked the numbers of the police officers too. The WPC who works at the moratumulla police station was really helpful and she told that another customer of aratuwa came and lodged an entry few days ago amounting to 300,000/-. Police somehw managed to get hold of chathuranga thru another number and while I was at the police he transferred 10,000/- less that what he owes me saying the balance will put after few days. So, do lodge the entry against this robber at moratumulla police if u also got caught wit his scam. Police knows this thief really well.
The workmanship of their products is excellent and their customer service needs to improve ! I would recommend doing business with Aratuwa
