Great experience Ceylon Insider Travels. Our guide Shermith was super nice, responsible, considerate. He really showed us a wonderful island which is way beyond our expectation. They also offer pretty reasonable prices which cover pretty much a lot services including chauffeuring, fuel, parking fee, customized trip design, and even good souvenir gift. Recommend!

We were planning a holiday for the weekend and been looking for many destinations but somehow lucky for us, we decided to go to Sri Lanka and found ceylon insider. It was a short holiday but these guys made it one of our BEST holidays we have ever had. Shermith helped us a lot to plan our holiday. We already had an itinerary planned for 6 days but once we sent over the plan to Shermith, he gave us invaluable information about the places that we must visit and the best destinations to explore during our short period of time. Also he helped us to lock some amazing deals when he booked the hotels for us and I can guarantee you that they were the best and matched our budget more than we expected! It was one of our best holidays and Shermith made it sure that we had the best time when we were in Sri Lanka. We hiked, climbed lion rock, the sunset from the piduragala rock, tea plantation, the train ride and the safaris were outstanding and was perfect! Shermith was also an attentive driver and made sure our ride was super comfortable and safe. There are many crazy drivers out there and we always felt safe when Shermith was driving. This holiday made us want to visit Sri Lanka again and we were not expecting such excitement during this holiday but ceylon insider made sure we had the best! Shermith is literally the best tour guide that I can imagine to have. Even though driving in Sri Lank is difficult, he always drove us anywhere we wanted to go safely no matter how poor the driving condition was. He always recommended great restaurants and picked very nice spots for us! When I reflect back, this package is really a great deal since we saw a diversity of beautiful views (we saw almost everything except snow). I cannot strike enough the excellent service Shermith provided us. Before the trip, he frequently communicated with us via long emails and very detailed travel plans. At our arrival, he welcomed us with flowers. During the trip, he was always responsible as he accompanied us the whole time and communicated with locals. He also took really really nice photos fro us. When we left, he gave us a great souvenir with our photo printed on top! More importantly, Shermith is a very humorous guy to have fun with. We also had many conversations with him and learned different aspects (nature, quotidian life, politics) of Sri Lanka. I guess you care about the price. I would say it is really really decent ("Not expensive at all" according to my friends). We had a wonderful time in Sri Lanka, all because of Shermith.
Hands down one of our best travelling experiences ever! Shermith is super professional with great communication from the first contact through to the end of the journey and even after. His English is excellent and he is a careful and considerate driver with incredible inside knowledge and a genuine passion for ensuring you get the best out of your journey. There are lots of ways to get around SL but for a family or even a couple who want to maximise their time and avoid the tourist traps a private driver of Shermith's calibre is by far the best option in terms of price and experience - and we checked all the options thoroughly!
