We had a charming visit with the artist, learning about the "Ganeshism movement" and seeing his imaginative, innovative work. Look for the house number, there is no signage, but it's not too hard to find.

I can highly, highly recommed to visit the lovely Ganeshism gallery. First of all - its worth going for the art! Besides that, I was blown away be the atmosphere in the gallery/ private home of the artist and his wife. It is one of the most beautiful homes I've ever visited with the most lovely lilttle garden in the center of the home. It felt like a little paradis on earth - with the garden, the cats, the dog and the art. The artist Mahen and his wife were so hospitable and gave us one of the most amazing expiriences of our entire travel in Sri Lanka.
