It was a great time spent on a superb location facing the ocean. The staff was very accommodating and the owner even let us use his shower for free, even though we used only restaurant services. 5 out of 5, I would love to come back guys!

Unless bad comments we saw. We had a really good lunch at this place with fresh Tuna. Price was reassonable compare to places nearby
AVOID. So many better places out there!! We've spent a couple of weeks in Tangalle and this was the worst experience yet. We stopped here because it looked nice. A bit more expensive but nice peaceful location on the beach. That's where the good stuff ends. We ordered a seafood platter for 2, making sure the waiter understood it was the 'for 2', and he repeated it after us. What we got was 8-10 small prawns with rice, which we ate assuming the rest of the platter must be coming. They claimed we had ordered sweet and sour prawn which were 'daily price' on the menu and they wanted to charge us the same price as the seafood platter for 2!! For a few tiny prawns!!! The manager wouldn't back down claiming we lied about what we ordered, even after realising the waiter didn't tell us the daily price. In the end we got a small discount and walked out to finish our dinner in a better restaurant (aka ANYWHERE).
We walked in around 8.pm and only one table was occupied. We are a brown textured family ,parents- senior citizens plus two adult daughters. The guy at the counter told us that locals aren't served here. I told him 3 of the 4 have foreign citizenship but local origin. Still it was a NO Asked for manger he was equally rude and said Sri Lankan and Indians argue after drinking and so his German owner has barred them We were not there for drinks just for dinner So my conclusion is it's a racist location. It's up to you to patronage
I would give this place 0 stars if I could, but sadly that's not an option. Our first warning sign should have been that this place is so far down the road of what is a really bustling stretch of cafes and restaurants. Our second should have been that it was practically empty. Regardless, after a long day we thought we would stop by for a bite to eat. We were refused service by the staff because "they don't serve locals" (not that it matters, but only one of us is a SriLankan national- the rest of us hold citizenship from India, Australia, and the UK). To be refused service based purely on the basis of race is disgusting, outdated behaviour that has NO place in today's global world. The manager (?) told us that they didn't serve "our people" because of "this". He stated that when we drank we argued, which is not only an incredibly generalised statement, but offensive. Additionally, we were all sober with no intention of drinking then at their establishment - we were just after a bite to eat. We were told that the owner is foreigner who doesn't like to serve "locals" - and this evidently extends to anyone who originates from the sub-continent. If this is truly the case, take your resort off foreign land where you utilise the labour of local workers, profit off them and their land, refuse to serve them, and allow racism, discrimination, and segregation to continue in this country. That or dust off your colonial-era "No Sub-Continentals Allowed" sign and put it out the front so we don't have to waste our time. Needless to say, I do NOT recommend any of you waste your time or your money at this place.
Wir kamen zwei Mal hierher für einen Longdrink. Wunderschöne Stimmung und coole Musik! Wir genossen die Drinks und im speziellen den Full Moon Day!! Nochmals vielen Dank !! wir kommen wieder. . . Und wieder sind wir hier ;) (November 2019) Coole Musik und gute Bedienung! Ambiente pur. . .
