We rented a tuk tuk and Vinoj offered such a great service. We were in Nuwara Eliya and still had to arrange our tuk tuk drivers license. The only place where you can do that are Kandy and Colombo and according to Vinoj we had to use our original licenses (not copies) to arrange them, because we didn't have international driving licenses but only our Dutch ones. Vinoj drove all the way to Nuwara Eliya, leaving home in the middle of the night, to pick up our necessary items (our original Dutch licenses, passport copies, passport photos) then went to Colombo to arrange them for us. He did all this as an extra service, so without extra costs. We met up in Ella where he dropped off the tuk tuk together with our tuk tuk licenses and gave us a short explanation about how to drive it, also asking us to drive out onto the public road. My boyfriend and I were ready to go within half an hour. Throughout the whole process Vinoj was very communicative and quick to respond. Our green tuk tuk had some small defects in the end but nothing that kept us from getting from A to B. We affectionately called him 'Donnie' and he served us well!

We had an amazing experice with tuktuk Lanka. First of all vinoj is a great person. Very helpful and always with a smile. After he gave us a ride to nuwara eliya we took the train and he brought our tuktuk to Ella where we had some drinks together. From there he went home by bus and left us with his tuktuk which was in perfekt condition for our 1 month trip in SL. If we had questions we could always give him a ring. Thanks again. He is also a perfect driver. We also got invited for dinner our first evening.

We had the best time with Vinoj. He picked us up from the airport and learned us how to drive the tuktuk. Then we drove 3000 beautiful kms. He was always there to answer questions and his wife and Vinoj invited us for a great local lunch afterwards. Prices are way better than the big companies, so book your trip with Vinoj and make sure your money goes to a local family.

One of the greatest holidays ever! Tuk Tuk Lanka is the best! we spent together more than 2 weeks, made 1500km in Tuk Tuk (from Colombo around the island!). It was fun and I highly recommend it! Regards M&M (Gdansk, Poland)

Das Tuk Tuk war in Ordnung, wir hatten nie Probleme, außer dass der Anlasser ab und an nicht ging. Was allerdings gar nicht in Ordnung war... Wir hatten einen Preis inklusive ALLER Leistungen, sowie eine Jeep Safari im Nationalpark vereinbart. Am Ende mussten wir plötzlich für die Reinigung des Tuk Tuk noch extra zahlen und die Safari war natürlich auch nicht inklusive, als wir morgens um 5 Uhr im Jeep der Safari saßen hieß es plötzlich wir müssen noch 70 Eintritt für den Park zahlen, das war eine absolute Frechheit und wir sind wieder ins Hotel gefahren weil wir natürlich auch nicht genug Geld dabei hatten. Vinoj war hier leider nicht sehr ehrlich zu uns, wir würden zukünftig lieber 2 mehr investieren und zu einem anderen Anbieter mit mehr Leistung und Service gehen.
