The museum itself is small I'll lite, and consist almost entirely of old photographs from Nurawa Eliya' s colonial past. But the ticket price includes your entrance into the extensive, well keep garden. So a quick walk through the museum before a longer strolling the park
Peaceful and some nice views, it would be better to walk around in the morning. We are a little late evening but still can feel how nice it is. Fare is 300LKRs/foreigner adult.
Nice place to see some collection of old furniture and photos about tea plantations, older road board, and lots of photos there no entry fee. Only main entrance tickets allow
The musuem is inside Victoria Park. Full of historical pictures relating to the history of the park. Nothing really very interesting, one would probably take 5 minutes to view everything in it. The most interesting one for me is seeing pictures of various car models in the olden days. *Photography prohibited here. *Entrance free for park-goers
The importance of tea production in this area is also reflected by the hotel ‘The Heritance Tea Factory’, located approximately 14 kilometers from Nuwara Eliya. Although not an official museum, this hotel creates a historical vibe by being located in an authentic tea factory. The Heritance Tea Factory provides you with the opportunity to pluck your own tea, taste different flavors of freshly steamed tea leaves or visit the gorgeous waterfalls and botanic gardens around the hotel.
Nothing really interesting in here, disorderly, ignored. Good place to get away from the rush of the city. Other than that nothing special in this place.
Beautiful flower garden. Separate kids play ground with train tour. Best place to visit if you're planning visit Nuwaraeliya
