Wonderful, serene place amid the lush jungle canopy of Yala National Park. An environment-friendly establishment, run by a family-like staff, providing delicious food with great service. Comfortable tented lodges with required amenities such as hot water and air conditioning. They offer an all inclusive package with a safari. The highlight of their establishment is the restaurant deck situated in a hillock which offers a 360 degree view of the entire Yala National Park. The sunrise from the deck is never to be missed. If you opt to stay a couple of nights at this place, you will be so bound with nature and you definitely don't want to come back. It is a one of a kind experience. Recommending this place with all hands in!
This is my second time to Yala and this time was BEYOND AMAZING and Literally Beyond Exceptions. Yala Safari Camping, Kataragama is incredible. The main lobby/dining/viewing deck is the nicest place I've seen in maybe all of Sri Lanka. The luxury tents are nice rooms as well. But what is really the WOW factor is the great staff, good food, excellent drivers, and the viewing deck. Make sure you wake up for a nice sunrise there as it's absolutely worth it. 5-Stars!
The place is a paradise for the nature lovers. Its quite impressive how they have managed to give a luxurious accomodation in the middle of the woods without harming the mother nature. Food is a delightful fiesta to the taste buds and the hosting is really family like. This place should be in everyone's bucket list. Thank you Yala Safari Camping.
It was my first experience of glamping and safari. I'm really happy that we choose Yala safari camping. Once we arrive Kataragama town they took us with safari jeep and the moment we arrive to camp me and my friends were all shocked, we had such a wonderful view looking to Yala National Park. They also gave us complimentary juice. Camp is in remote area inside jungle. Luxury tents are specious and comfortable. Threw the thin walls you can hear all noises coming from the jungle and that makes the experience very real. For safari we picked afternoon, and the jeep we had was really powerful and new when I compare to other jeeps inside the park I understand the difference. The driver they arrange us made sure that we didn't leave the park before we see a leopard and which was amazing. When we all lose our hope driver didn't and find it in the end which made it really emotional for us. Camp is run by Mahesh and thanks to him and his team everything from start to end was beyond our expectations, they really did their best to make sure everything was fun and enjoyable for us. That is why this place deserves 5 stars. Thank you Yala Safari Camping.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed at. This place is so amazing and unique situated in the middle of a safari. Every meal breakfast lunch Ian’s dinner was 3-8 courses and delicious The staff were so nice and made us feel like family. Their Safari drivers no the park so well and we manage to see multiple elephants, leopards, wild boars deers you name it, Great package and would definitely recommend it
