Very authentic camping experience. I wouldn't exactly call it glamping. But its a nice in-between. The large tents come with clean beds, a toilet and running water. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. The dinner and breakfast which was served in the dining tent was also pretty good. Overall a pretty good experience.

We just checked out today after a 1 night stay with included 16pacs. Its a different experience and was awesome. If you check the tents well when checking in, keep the tent opening & bathroom zips closed at all times, the chances of creatures kreeping in is very slim. The food was tasty and of good standard. Staff is very helpful and appreciate the standard of toilet with the restrictions of not having a permanent structures. It is very hot from 10am to around 3pm but can spend outside under the common tent with a good breeze. We had a Safari and night walk but was unfortunate not to spot any Leopards. The kids (ages 910) enjoyed their stay and the burning off mashmellows at the Bonfire.

Yesterday I came back from my trip. It was amazing and the staff was extremely friendly, food and service was out of this world. It was a relaxing experience and our tour guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. We will definitely book another Gig game camp. Also I am sure everyone will enjoy such wonderful and relaxing service.

I was a bit apprehensive when my wife booked this place. As was my children, especially my daughter who did not have a good experience camping two years ago. But it was amazing. The staff are welcoming, friendly and courteous. They emphasised how the prevention of mosquito bites is a must and also how the tents were designed to protect the occupants. But this is only so long as guests obey the precautions, which is to zip up the entrance as soon as you enter. Dinner was an experience for us as it had been raining so we ate in a tent. The children were put off by the flying ants, but once distracted loved the meal and forgot about them. While it was hard to see what we were eating in the light, this was a necessity to prevent more insects being attracted. The toilet was very good, but we waited until we left before using it for the more smelly option! And the shower was the best of our holiday at that time.

Skilled naturalist to take us on a nature walk where we saw many birds. Very friendly and attentive staff also for children. Romantic campfires. Elephants walking around campsites and very well organised trips to Wilpattu. Tents are simple but the service with tea next to a pond makes you feel a king

Built according to the theme ecotourism.. Very nice place.. feel you are in the middle of a jungle in the dry zone...tents are very well equipped. Cozy beds...bathroom is good... dinning in the outdoor was a good experience. Food is good but you do not have options...staff is friendly...

Was a unique and great experience Clean tent and beds in the middle of the jungle. The only disadvantage is that the outer zipper of our tent was not working and the staff could not do anything, which made us feel uncomfortable especially at night
