We had to relocate two of our dogs from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia during the pandemic. Although we had been in contact with several good firms in Sri Lanka, we ended with Pet Travels Lanka due to their credible and genuine contact with various stakeholders in Sri Lanka to get the process moving quickly as soon as my repatriation flight was confirmed within a few days. On arrival on a Saturday, the pups had to have COVID 19 PCR test early in the morning in order to get the results in the evening and a vet was organized to perform this at 5 a.m. at the quarantine center.. In addition to this, one of her team stayed with the dogs until the results was conveyed. We cannot thank the team enough for the care and personal involvement in getting the pups home.

We were exasperated and running around in genuine frustration at the lack of clear guidance and skyrocketing expense quotes after deciding to bring our dog Sunny from Toronto to Colombo, Sri Lanka. We chosed Lakshini after contacting 3 other potential pet relocation services. She immediately put us at ease with her extensive knowledge/experiance of the process, right from the origin to the destination and anything and everything in between! She and her team was forthright on the costs involved and was in contact with us RIGHT thourought the process. You did get the feeling that they were prepared for every.single.possible.pitfall which was a huge relief and a painfull burden off our shoulders: Worth every penny! We have our Sunny with us and we are now armed with an outstanding PetTravelsSriLanka team to turn into whenever we want to travel with Sunny!

I am currently in the process of using Pet Travels Lanka and would absolutely not use them again. You are dollars to them. There is little concern for the client and they will do the minimal possible to deal with and help ease your pet's transition. They have made an already stressful and expensive process even more so. I which I could go back and use a different company. Think hard about trusting them with your pets and their journey. They completely lack compassion.

Would not recommend this company to any pet lovers! We drove an hour and half to pick up the pets. just as I pull in on time. I get a call that my pets didn’t make the flight. they blamed fog in Europe. didn’t know fog sticks around till the evening. waited 3 Hrs in the rain. disorganized to say the least. 1 star because that’s the minimum.

It's not worthy of any star... It's not worthy of your money... They just play with people's emotion.... Because of their love for animals... It's a SCAM... They're CON artist.. I've got ripped off by them... I hope you don't... Horrible!!

Worst experience ever I had at Pet Travels Lanka. I will never ever use this service again so many hidden fees. I can't even get my dog home because I don't have the money to get her home. After being told if I pay 1500 she would be shipped and all but 75 would be refunded I was told I needed to pay another 1300. I lost it now I can't get my money or dog back. It's the worst feeling in the world and this company won't even answer the phone or email me back. DONT USE THIS COMPANY. Use united I wish I had much cheaper and no hidden fees.

This was an unpleasant interaction. The people at Pet Travels are rude, passive aggressive, lacks attention to detail and added to the overall stress we already had with an overseas move. The lady was incredibly flippant about everything, passed blame to everyone else, including once even to me the customer, it was not good and we paid a lot of money for it to be as terrible as it was. The owner was contacted about the issues and we were given a general "thanks for letting us know, we'll address it" which having worked in customer service means basically I'm just going to delete this. Overall my dog did manage to make it alive but at much stress to us the owners.

Initially very happy with the detailed information and the care offered for our pets.the costing/quotation was good. However, be aware only cash or bank transfer payments accepted. Not cards. Although when the enquiry was made we were advised cards were ok. We have since opted to go with an alternative agent.
