Comes way to close to the wales, harrasses them. The engine is really bad for the whale's hearing. Other tours are a lot more respectful to the whales.

Worst experience I've had on my worldtrip. Our hotel had the offer to do the whale watching tour for 2500 LKR instead of 6500, so we decided to do that. And I'm very happy to pay only that less and no rupee more. The unfriendly and rude guide/captain gave us a impolite welcome and said we have to use three seats in the lower deck, because all the other seats were reserved and already taken. The whole time he made bad jokes and tried to be funny. The breakfast was "OK", but unfortunately my sandwich was already bitten off. After ten minutes the first passenger in the upper deck vomited down, it hit some passenger in the downer deck - the staff did nothing against it, they didn't even clean it. The sea was very ruff this day, round about 50% or more of the passenger vomited - you can imagine the sound and the smell. After 3h of driving around and see nothing, the captain finally saw some dolphins and followed them. They were meters away, you can't almost see nothing and the staff didn't explain anything. But why does this bother me?? First of one of the staff members shouted: Look dolphins on the right side!!! So we saw the dolphins swimming and jumping out of the water and take a few photos. After they were gone the captain/guide went around and asked: So everybody saw the whales?? And some people asked: But these were dolphins. He refused and said: No these were pilot whales (they look very similar). We had a biology teacher on board and she told us, that these were definitely dolphins and no whales. I can understand when there are days where you can't see whales - it's nature. But I can't understand that they want me to be taken for fools. The way back home (3 more hours) were again full of vomiting people. Never every again and happy to pay only 2500 LKR instead of 6500 or 10.000 like others.
