Formed in 2017, Leo Club of SLIIT was titled as the “Most Outstanding New Leo Club in Sri Lanka” in its charter year. The club focuses on building leadership skills and functions as a community service providing club under the largest service organization in the world, the Lions Club international. The Club is sponsored by its parent Lions club, Lions Club of Thalangama South. The Leo club program is open to all the students studying at SLIIT to develop their professional skills, interpersonal skills and render service to the betterment of the community. Leos all around the country are highly recognized in the job market and are certified to have a good experience in conducting projects and events under various categories. Leos are groomed to be profound and responsible professionals with good ethical standards, which upholds an individual and make them stand out among other individuals.
